Adult Formation

Many adults are interested in learning more about their faith, studying scriptures, and finding support as they grow in their faith life.  We have a few programs to assist adults in their endeavors.  The RCIA program is not only for adults who want to become Catholic, but for any person who wants to learn more about the Church.  Adults who would like to become more familiar with God’s word can join our Scripture study group.  If you have been Catholic a long time and are ready for some in-depth instruction on the Church we host the Diocesan School of Christian Formation.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults

RCIA is the process by which adults who want to become Catholic prepare to receive the sacraments of initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. It also prepares adults who were baptized in another faith, or who were baptized Catholic but not raised in the faith, to receive the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. We meet Sundays after the 9:30 Mass in the Parish Hall. Inquirers are always welcome - just stop by!  For more information, please contact Becky Miklos or Deacon Byron Champagne at 575-0837.
